I'm feeling very retro and mod today;
It’s over 90 degrees (Fahrenheit, for all of my non US followers) here today, so I was sifting through my wardrobe for something to keep me cool when I stumbled upon an awesome little crop top from the 60’s. My grandmother had designed and constructed this bad boy for my aunt to wear in high school. My aunt then passed it down to my mom to wear when she was in high school, who then held onto it until I came across it one day. I was completely and utterly confused by it, because it looked like a shirt, had features of a shirt… but at the same time didn’t look like a shirt at all. All it had was a neck hole, a collar, and two random buttons on the front side. Eventually I figured it out, and I’m wearing it right now because it’s the perfect keep-cool shirt I own.
It’s a batwing tie waist crop top collared shirt. It has no side seams. It wraps around the front and back of my torso, and buttons in the back and ties in the front. It’s totally brilliant!
I peer pressured my boyfriend into opening his birthday present a week early;
I bought him a bulletproof glass LED light up skateboard, and he immediately wanted to go out and use it. Now it’s his mission to teach me how to skate so we can be that adorable skater chic couple. Works for me, since I’ve actually always wanted someone to teach me how…. but shhh, don’t tell him that! :p
Opinions on gay marriage:
You’re a fucking IDIOT if you’re going to try and tell someone who they can or cannot marry. Love is love, simple as that.
